On his own loft, the most recent season was once again a great success. Moreover, over the past two years, numerous remarkable references can be noted.  The Margris pigeons have truly been the foundation of many recent achievements in the pigeon sport! Given the impressive number of references, we will return later to the 2024 performances of Alexandre Margris on his own loft. For years, Sakis continues to amaze the pigeon racing world with international successes, especially on the OLR, with descendants of his very strong strain of Ludo Claessens pigeons. Meeuwke 12, Supercracks Talent, Bonte Beauty, etc…. For many years, Sakis has been widely regarded as the treasurer of the Claessen pigeons. In addition to brilliant performances on his own loft and with other fanciers, his worldwide successes on the one-loft races in particular, are of a very high level. Every season again we see descendants of e.g. Meeuwke 12, Supercracks Talent, Bonte Beauty, White Talent, Super Yearling, Nationaal Meeuwke, etc…. back at the top of the international OLR.    Despite his busy job and a limited number of race- and breeding pigeons, Sakis also manages to perform excellently on his own loft every year. Last year, he raced a team of yearlings that had not been trained as youngsters. During the season, despite this handicap, they managed to achieve some great results, especially in the one-day long distance races. PIPA received a lot of info about the last of 5 Marathon races in Saudi Arabia. This Saudi International Race – Kuwait – Bahrain was won by Mossab Al Dossary with his 5 year old pigeon KS21-0109126F. For Saudi-Arabian marathon fanciers, the big race released in Skaka was one of the great highlight of the season 2025! The Ministry of Sport – Saudi Committee for Racing Pigeons organises 5 long distance races, with an average distance of 950 km:  Starting Points and Routes: 1. Dammam → Hail, Sakaka, Arar 2. Almajma’ah → Al Qurayyat, Tubarjal 3. Halat Ammar → Jeddah, Unaizah 4. Al Qurayyat → Al Qassim, Hafar Albatin, Taif, Madina 5. Skaka → Riyadh, Dammam, Al Qatif, Al-Ahsa This last race had a total number of 8,494 pigeons in the race! This Saudi International Race – Kuwait – Bahrain (Long Distance) was one of the toughest challenges due to extreme weather conditions, with only two pigeons managing to arrive during the night!  Hussain Baban analysed this race and this are the main conclusions:  Initial Results Analysis:
